- [Instructor] You've heard me recommend against using solid blends for good reason, but curve booleans are different. First of all, they are awesome. Secondly, they can save you a lot of steps, maybe even hundreds. Yes, you're welcome. So let's clear up a little confusion. First solid booleans are not my favorite, for the simple reason that they can be difficult or impossible to go backwards and make changes. Our strategy as always is to build with curves, then edit them and create surfaces and solids. So, therefore, curve booleans use curves. It's in the name. Everything is good. Okay. A couple of tips we want to keep in mind when starting any curve blend. We're going to try to make this shape here at the top. This guy right there.
