Resume tips
- [Instructor] I wanna reinforce some of the ideas that I mentioned in my resume video and talk about one or two other things that were never specifically mentioned. The first thing is that your resume should be easy to read. That means that if it's difficult to read then the person will probably stop reading it after just a matter of a few seconds because they're going through many resumes and they need to be able to find the information that they care about in a hurry. If it's hard to read, then they won't be able to do that. So they'll just toss the resume to the side. Also it's important to have correct spelling in your resume. Now, I won't care if someone accidentally misspells one word in their resume, that's okay, but if I start to see two or three or four misspellings in the resume or some just completely bizarre use of punctuation in the resume, I'll begin to wonder how the rest of their work will be when they're working for me in my organization.
