- [Instructor] We tend to focus on the Project Manager as the central role in a project environment, for obvious reasons. But there are other roles that are involved and there are different ways that the roles work together in an agile environment compared to a traditional project management environment. First, as we've talked a little bit about in this course already, the roles must be integrated. The various stakeholders must work together in a very close fashion. They must ensure that they are contributing to the intellectual capital and the progress through the new product development process. What is challenging for some organizations is that these roles have to be a little bit self-organizing. The Project Manager typically brings the roles together and initiates the project, and then the roles have a little bit more self-organizing ability than they do in traditional methods.
