- [Instructor] As you begin your new product development project, you first task as a project manager is to build your product-focused team. Now, this is a little bit different than you might be thinking from a normal project team in that product-focused means the stakeholders are focused on the particular product that you have. So the typical roles that would be involved at the project inception would of course be the project manager, the product owner, designers, engineers, manufacturing engineers, planners, and quality assurance. Agile promotes close collaboration between team members, so you need to make sure that the people that you're choosing, especially for your first agile new product development project, are those that relish close contact and relish collaborative working environments.
