Options for keeping components in sync
- [Narrator] For this exercise, I'll be using the C02_04 assembly. There are times when working with design accelerators, where it's not always desirable to have the design accelerators doing updates automatically every time you make a change. There are other times where it becomes cumbersome having to update them manually. There are options that will service both needs. Going to the browser, and right clicking on the bolted connection that's already in this assembly, I go to the component flyout, and I have the options to calculate, to manually solve, automatically solve, or, for the time being, I'm going to turn solve off. With the bolted connection solve off, if I make a modification to the design, such as, modifying the properties of the sketch, and then updating the assembly, you'll see that the bolted connection might shift position, but the length doesn't change, and the hole position doesn't change.
