- So this movie brings our course to a close, but there's a couple things I'd still like you to consider. Check our Design Foundations: Materials course, and it'll help you with selecting materials for prototyping and materials for manufacturing. Other thing I'd like you to take away from this is start developing your database now. You'll start looking at different types of prototyping agencies. Some of 'em only do one thing or a couple things well, and some will provide you an end-to-end solution for your needs. On the manufacturing side, start developing that database on different disciplines, like sheet metal or die casting or whatever suits your needs. And then also look at the region and the costs and the qualities. Some specialize in prototype tooling, and some actually just specialize in high quantity tooling.
