Load cases

- [Instructor] With the out-of-the-box Revit structural template, we get nine predefined load cases. They're pretty typical. It's our load cases that we assign when we place loads in boundary conditions. In this video, I'd like to make a new load case and assign a load nature to it. Open up the model you've been working in. Go to the Analyze tab. Under Analytical Models, we have Load Cases, we have Load Combinations. Go ahead and click Load Cases. It's going to jump into our Structural Settings. We just looked at this dialog before, but now we're looking at our load cases. Notice that we have name, case number, nature, category, okay. You can change each of these. So what I want to do is quickly make a load nature. Then we'll assign it to our load case. So under Load Natures, click Add. For New Nature, I'll just call it Mechanical Equipment. Now, keep in mind, I'm just making these up. If you have an actual load…
