Intent of the cover letter
- [Narrator] The cover letter tells your story. It is your opportunity to paint a picture that demonstrates your desire to enter the industry and to describe the path that brought you to the interview room. Let's talk about the content of a cover letter. Your cover letter should really be no more than three or four paragraphs. Topics include knowledge, motivation, and relatable skills. Remember, the purpose of your cover letter is to explain your personal motivation and drive, and your resume will cover the details of your experience.
