Import a SketchUp file to a FormIt file

We worked by bringing in a DWG file to help us create forms but FormIt can work with the products from other vendors. If I say, click on File, and then Import, Import a 3D model. This is a file from LinkedIn learnings Sketchup course of our house. I just renamed it and I'm going to bring this it to my project. FormIt does some checking on the file as it converts it. It looks at the triangles that make up flat faces to make sure that they are coplanar and if they're not, it'll give you a warning and it will also give you a solution where you can select on those faces and use a flatten command and form it to flatten those faces out. The reason to be using FormIt is that its got categories for the content created, like masses, or you can use furniture or specialty equipment and other options so that when you bring it into Revit, you get increased compatibility because they're already categorized, and then in Revit you can…
