Let's take a look at a few points. Onboarding, you've got to get them when they're fresh. Nothing irks me more than when I'm taking a stroll through the office and there's someone sitting there in Revit or AutoCAD that I've never seen before. You don't want that situation. They'll have no clue where to get stuff or the proper procedure for anything. Internal training. I always say there's knowing Revit and BIM and in addition there's knowing Revit and BIM at my specific company. These are two different things. No two firms are identical in terms of workflow and productivity. This kind of training needs to be done by your BIM person or someone who knows the process at your firm. External training.
