- [Instructor] In this video, I'd like to look at how to make a background not be so dark and stark in Navisworks. So what I'm going to do is jump into any random model that I have open, and I encourage you to do the same, or you can open the Navisworks essential model that I have provided with these lessons. When we first start a Navisworks project, either by exporting Revit or opening up other files, we see that it's kind of black in the background. Although this doesn't effect anything, it's still nice to have a different background. To do this, we're going to go to the View tab. If your structural grid was on, we could Show Grid or not. I usually like to keep that turned off. But for the Scene view, if we go to Background, we can change that. So for my Mode, instead of Plain, let's click the dropdown. We'll try Horizon for now. Let's skip the defaults, click Apply, click OK. That's kind of neat. It sort of has a horizon. But once you pan underneath it, it looks like it's kind of…
