- In the United States, almost half of annual energy consumption and gas emission are from buildings. Given the actual number of buildings, a complete analysis of building performance, and the implementation of energy saving project can be a daunting task. Fortunately, compared to traditional 2D drawing tools, new technology facilitates these tedious operations. Applied to existing building, 3D BIM technologies allow you to capture building geometry and features, the data needed to conduct energy performance analysis, and facilitate contract completion.
