Dimension styles
- [Instructor] We're staying in our Annotation.dwg file and in the same way that we set up the text style previously, we're now going to set up a dimension style. A little bit of housekeeping before we start though. Make sure in the Home tab on the ribbon in the Layers panel you go to your drop-down here and select the Dimensions layer as the current drafting layer. In later versions of AutoCAD you can also go to the Annotate tab on the ribbon and set up a dim layer override here in the Dimension panel and select Dimensions there and that means that basically that layer will always be used for Dimensions regardless of the current drafting layer. You can set up your dim style in two places, just like your text style. You'll notice here in the Annotate tab on the Dimensions panel you've got the arrow here, that will bring up your Dimension Style Manager. I'll close that there.
