Defining a path of travel

- [Instructor] In Revit, we can now define a path of travel. What that means is we can specify our egress and ingress by just drawing a line through a bunch of doors. Revit will know to adjust the line to go maybe down a hallway and through some doors. It'll give us our length of travel and even our speed and how long it will take to get from point A to point B. Let's start a new model by going to Models, New. For the template, I'd like to use Architectural Template. Then click OK. On the Architecture tab, we'll click our Wall button. On the Draw panel, let's click Rectangle. I don't care how big it is. Okay, hit Escape a few times. Let's click on Door. Put one here and put one here. I'm going to go to Wall. I'll just put a wall right in the middle here. Let's put a door in it right about here just to be difficult. Okay, let's go to the Analyze tab. Notice we have Path of Travel.
