- [Instructor] ViewRange can be a frustrating thing. I've actually never heard someone say hey you know what, I really like ViewRange. It's hard to figure out sometimes. Another thing that's hard to figure out is suppose I want to edit one area with my ViewRange while not effecting other areas in a view? You can do that, you can add what's called the plan region. So open up any model that you want, go to the View tab, go to Plan Views, go to Plan Region. You can draw any shape but a circle. I'll just draw a rectangle around this area right maybe here. Suppose I don't want to see that ramp. You could edit the view range here, but it's kind of confusing until you just click on Finish Edit Mode. And what you'll see now if you hit Escape is a green dotted line, I recommend not turning these off because people will get really confused. Go ahead and select the plan region. Now really the only property we have is ViewRange, so go ahead and click on Edit. And maybe we want the bottom to be…
