Join Brian Myers for an in-depth discussion in this video Creating a movie, step 2: Weather effects, part of Lumion Essential Training.
- [Lecturer] After you've set up the first portion…of your movie, the next thing you can do…is add effects to the movie.…Over on the right hand side select on Movie.…Then I'm going to select on this little button here…which'll just pause the movie…and if your movie wasn't already moving forward…you really won't need to hit the pause button,…but I did in my case.…Now with the movie highlighted,…the next thing that we can do…is that we can come up and select on Affects.…
And we can edit custom effect here to our movie.…I want to add snow to the movie.…So I'll select on Snow from underneath…weather and climate.…After clicking on snow we can see…that there's now a light coating…of snow here on our building.…But there's also an option for Snow layer.…If you look closely at the vehicles here in your scene,…as you increase the snow layer…more snow will be on top of the objects…inside of your scene, including beginning to cover up…your vehicles there in the scene.…
Also you can add Clouds to the scene.…Or reduce the number of clouds in the scene.…
