- [Instructor] So we looked at the surface profile type. Let's look at our layout profile type in this exercise. I'm going to open up our exercise file 0704 profile layout drawing. We already have the existing surface profile shown along with the profile view. Now we can't layout or create a proposed profile or draw a profile without having a profile view. And so there's a close association there. So even if you're not concerned or focused on the surface profile, it usually is easier to start with a surface profile that will dynamically create the height needed for that profile view. In this exercise, we already see the circles. And each circle has a number associated. So we've done some of the simple engineering that you're going to already do on your design. We're going to make some edits to that engineering later. So let's go ahead and create a profile by laying it out. Now we can, again, come from a home ribbon from the profile drop down and choose from the create design panel…
