- [Instructor] When you're creating surfaces, you know, initiated from the line work, you can use any of the three planes are associated with the axis. So if you wanted, you could start by thinking of it more like you're drawing a cross section, and if you place this, I'm going to do, place at the origin, come out. Let's say 30 and pointing along that axis, I'm going to go here. You see that if I move my cursor around, it'd be on the active work plane, but really, like a world coordinate system. If I move my cursor to find the z axis, I can move up or down that to draw on the axis. So if I move it up to, say, 30 there, I can click and place that. Now I've got a surface. Now because I've got a surface and because FormIt will use that, you see I've got a world coordinate system and then I've got, you know, work on a surface.
