- [Instructor] I want to show how you can create and apply FormIt materials to surfaces in your model. The benefit is that you can avoid having to model everything in 3D. You can use, if you like, images of doors or windows. I'm going to select on the group that has my wall forms inside it, and then I'm going to, if I double click on it, that would be me opening it up. And now what I'm in is editing mode for the objects that are in this group, those individual walls. If I say I want to draft, I can pick the line work, I'm going to draw a line. I'll place it where I want on the wall, and then I'll point upwards and type in the value that I want, seven foot six. Come across, I'm using the grid spacing so I can have that, say, three feet wide. And come down and pick on the bottom on my wall. And what that gives me is two different surfaces that can have two different materials. So if I double click, I'll be out of the…
