- [Instructor] Having given ourselves an introduction to some of the basic concepts regarding rendering for compositing in V-Ray Next for SketchUp, what we want to do in this chapter is take a closer look at some of the essential render elements available to us, given that better familiarity with the tools can only help improve the work that we do. Specifically in this instance, we will look to work with what I like to call the base render elements required in order to rebuild a scene in a composite, doing so in a way that matches up to the beauty pass that comes out of V-Ray itself. The end goal here is to come away with a foundational knowledge of both what the render elements themselves do, as well as an understanding of how we could composite them back together again in Photoshop, though everything that we look at here could just as easily be done in any decent compositing application, and applied to a rendered…
