- [Narrator] What I'd like to do in this video is make a bolt. We got a lot to do so let's just jump into it. Under families, go new. I want to find generic model face based, then click open. Let's right click on this reference plane and create similar. On the drop panel, type in 1.75 inches. I'll set one up, and one down. Hit Escape a couple times. Click align the dimension. And let's put a dimension on all three of these, equally constrain 'em, put an overall dimension in. Hit escape a couple times, select this dimension. Let's click create parameter. I'm just going to call it B. Click OK. Now, I want to create an extrusion, so let's go to create, extrusion, but we're actually going to use a circumscribed polygon. Click that. Pick a point from here to here. Perfect. Now go to the create panel, click reference plane, we're just going to draw two reference planes. One here. Going to right click…
