- [Instructor] In smaller firms, the coordinator role is oftentimes the highest level that you can go, particularly in firms where there's only a handful of people. The next step up in firms which are a bit larger is the manager role. There, you're managing multiple different projects and the quality of work that's being produced from those multiple different project teams, all related to the technology that's available to you. Then you can get up to the director level. Now, not too many companies have director level staff, but once you get up to the director level, those are usually companies that have hundreds of employees, multiple offices, and the director then supervises either multiple BIM coordinators or multiple BIM managers, or their VDC equivalents. These individuals oftentimes have professional degrees, their work history is that they've worked themselves up from some of the lower positions in the organization, such as BIM Coordinator up to BIM Manager, then finally to that…
