BIM Execution Plan
- [Instructor] The last skill that I wanna mention specifically are BIM Execution Plans. Now I mentioned BIM Execution Plans for a short time in the previous video, but the BEP, or sometimes abbreviated as the BXP, for BIM Execution Plan, goes into great detail on what's required in the project. Example of project requirements might be, why are we doing a BIM model in the first place? How much information will be inside of this BIM model? Who will put that information into the model? Who's responsible for that information once the model is being built as well as when it's being completed? What deliverables are actually required, such PDFs or IFC files or Revit files or AutoCAD files? What kind of quality control process will take place as people are modeling? Will we have clash detection meetings? Which means, will we have meetings where everyone comes together and we see if the stuff drawn by one firm hits the items drawn by another firm?
