Applying materials to objects

- [Instructor] Unreal Engine often presents you with many options when it comes to doing any number of things in the editor. When it comes to material assignments, we have a few different methods designed to make your workflow easier. So in the previous session here, what we did is we took a look at the material editor and we created a simple base color. Now it's important to understand how we assign this material. And in here, what we want to do is look at the different methods for assigning that material. We're not going to have a material if we don't do something very important, so something key here to understand. Anything you do in the material editor to be saved to your project, you must click the save button. The hotkey, as you can see, is control s as well. You can either do this by clicking the save icon up here or going to file, save. So in here, what we're going to do is we're going to actually hit save.
