Learn more about advanced animation in SketchUp. In this video, George shows how to create and align multiple views in SketchUp to control the camera to simulate a turnaround of a scene.
- [Instructor] Hi, I'm George Maestri,…and today we're going to take a look at…the animation tools in SketchUp.…And specifically, we're going to do…a turnaround of this scene.…So we're going to basically create a number…of different scenes and align them…precisely so that when you go from one scene to the next…you get a turnaround.…So let's go ahead and get started.…Now, the main tool that we want to use…is Position Camera.…So we can find it here on the toolbar,…or if we go into Camera, Position Camera,…we can find it as well.…
It's this little guy here.…And the nice thing about this tool is that…it allows you to precisely position a camera.…So if I position him in the scene, left-click and drag,…notice how we can drag out this line.…We can also snap to axes as well as points.…And when I let go, it positions the camera…where I initially put the mouse,…and then it points it at where I left off.…So we have two places here,…we have where the starts and where the camera is looking.…
And so we can use that to precisely position the camera.…
