- [Instructor] Collaboration within a new product development project can be many different things. It could be internal within the project team or external involving the customer, or it can be both. Let's take a look at a case study example using the concept that we need to order a prototype part. This prototype part would generally be ordered by the design engineer, and he or she would order it using a prototype manufacturing document. Using good agile practices, this document should be retrieved from a library that's under revision control. Once the prototype order has been completed, the work flow generally branches into one or more different segments. In this case, our first one would be to prepare the operations team for the work that they need to do. Simultaneously, you may be doing some testing.
