In this video, learn how to identify and properly name various additional phases in a project and place them in the correct order needed to display the model properly. Adding additional phases to a project can simplify certain uses of components such as demolition, installation, and temporary phases.
- [Instructor] So after you have tackled that daunting task … of listing every single view … that you have inside of your model, … and sometimes this list can get extremely long, … we now need to set up the phasing for the views, … so that we can start to sort them and group them. … So the next thing we're going to do is … we're going to actually go up to the Manage ribbon. … Inside of the Manage ribbon we're going to click on Phasing … which is usually over here … towards the right side of your screen, … and it's going to pop up the phases … that are actually already in the model, … which is fine, these are great. … But we're going to add to them, … because we have many, many more phases … that are actually part of this project. … So the first thing I'm going to do is, … I'm going to add them in. … So if you look at your handout you will see … that we need to add in two new phases … before our new construction phase. … So I'm going to click here where it says New Construction, … and I'm going to say Insert, Before. …
