Join Brian Myers for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding an ocean, part of Lumion Essential Training.
- [Instructor] Lumion doesn't just allow…for the creation of water,…it also allows us to create entire oceans of water.…To create an ocean, we go to landscape,…and then select on the ocean button.…Now, the first thing that you'll notice…is when you select on the ocean button,…nothing seems to happen in the scene.…And that's because you can turn your ocean on or off,…by just selecting on the icon for the power button.…By clicking on that button, you'll then see your ocean…surrounding your current scene.…
One of the settings for your ocean is called height.…If you click on the slider for height,…and then move it to the left,…the ocean water will drop down.…In this case it's actually below grade.…It's below our ground.…But if we decide to raise the ocean water up,…notice how the water's starting to raise itself up?…And then if we raise it up too high,…it completely engulfs our entire scene.…So, what you'll need to do if you're using oceans,…is to adjust the overall height of the water,…so that you get the look at you want for your scene.…
