- [Instructor] It's time to start thinking about foundations. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about foundations are foundation walls. What this video has us doing is setting up a foundation wall thickness, then adding it to the base of our model underneath the exterior architectural walls. In Revit I'm going to go to Open. I'm going to browse to my Chapter Three. I'm going to grab Structural-07. Then I'll click Open. Now in level one, what we're going to do is we're going to place a foundation underneath here. I want to temporarily turn off my grids in this level. So if I select any grid, I can come down here to my little sunglasses, Temporary Hide Isolate. I'm going to click that. And I want to Hide Category, Notice now that we're in Temporary Hide Isolate mode, and those are hidden, It just makes it easier to place our foundation walls. Let's go to Structure.
