- [Instructor] Obviously, we can't go through every connection available. But this one I use a lot. Suppose we need to connect the beam to a column. It happens. Well, we can do that. To demonstrate let's jump into Revit. Under models, let's go new. For the template file, I'm going to grab metric structural template. Click okay. Let's stay in level two. Go to structure. Let's click on column. Let's see what we've got. I don't want concrete. I'll grab the default 305 by 305 by 97. For the depth let's make sure we're going down to level one. Now I'm going to pick just a spot like right about here. Hit escape a couple of times. Click on structural framing beam. We use the default. Pick the midpoint of this column. Let's try this beam back a little bit. Just like that. Pretty simple stuff. Go to 3D view. Change your detail level to fine. Change your visual style to realistic. Perfect. Now for…
