Leveling the platform with the Replicator 2 series

Now, we need to make sure that our build platform is level. First, let's talk about when to level your build plate. You don't need to do it before every print or even daily. I like to level my build plate for a few reasons. When I've replaced the tape, it's always a good time. When I've moved the printer whether it's from another room or I had it with me during an event. I also do it whenever I've had a failed print. A lot of printing problems are caused by improper leveling, so this is always a good time to check that it's right. Whenever I have a large full platform print or a particularly complicated print coming up. And, also whenever I've taken a break from my 3D printer, and it's been a while since I've used it. A level build platform is crucial for 3D printing. For the 3D print to properly stick to the platform, the bed needs to be level, and the extruder nozzle has to be the right distance from the plate.
