Join Gerry O'Brien for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know before watching this course, part of Learning C# (2014).
In this course, I'm making the assumption that you are new to programming or perhaps brand new to the C# programming language. Although the course talks about the ability to create C# using Notepad or other platform tools such as Xamarin, I'm also assuming that you're going to want to write your code in Visual Studio. As a result, I'll show you where to get Visual Studio and how to download it and install it. And that is the tool that we'll use throughout the course.
