- [Instructor] In this video we will start…with the visual layout of our form of our dashboard…and for that I'm going to use the grid control.…So by default we have a window here,…a mainwindow.xaml,…which is the main window our application.…But I'm going to place a user control within this window.…So we'll do all of our programming and manipulation…of our visual within the user control…and then eventually just add that user control…here to the main window.…So let me close MainWindow for now…and right click on my project and say Add New…User Control.…
And when you click new User Control,…it will look very similar to a main window,…but our user control is going to be for our dashboard.…Now I'm going to use ConstantChangesChart as the name.…And be sure to have User Control selected for WPF.…Now I am choosing this name,…because this is also the name of the sample…in the live charts GitHub repository.…And so really what I'm doing is…I'm taking what I've learned from the sample…and I'm going to apply it here to a control…
