Learn how to data bding the gauge to a property value.
- [Instructor] So now that we have the basics of our chart…and line series for that chart,…let's place the user control on the main window…and start debugging.…So I'll double click MainWindows.xaml,…and I would like to place the ConstantChangesChart…on the main window.…So if it's not visible, go to View and Toolbox.…Select Toolbox.…Can minimize Common Controls or Controls.…Control + Shift + B to build.…
And once you've built your project, assuming it compiles,…thanks to the DLL being generated,…we are here in MainWindows.xaml.…Can see here in the Toolbox,…we now have ConstantChangesChart.…This is our user control.…I'll drag and drop that on to the main form.…I would like it to fill the whole form.…So I will remove the alignment…and all the other properties.…Hit save.…Now you can see…there is some visualization going on already.…
Our user control being shown on the main form…is trying to show itself and some default values.…It says I have a gauge over here,…a button over there, and a line chart.…I don't know what the values will look like, no idea,…
