Learn about the solution to the musical instrument problem, for which you used Windows Forms and the NAudio library.
- [Instructor] In summary, you've seen the in audio library…and its ability to generate a signal,…in this case the sine wave of a particular frequency.…And we were able to then manipulate that frequency…thanks to the in audio library's ability…to make changes on the fly, both of frequency and volume…as required in this challenge.…With Windows forms, we have pretty good access…to the hardware of the machine.…Most of what's available through Windows…we can get to through a Windows forms application…and the .net framework.…
Now that allowed us to track the mouse,…and I didn't want to track it across the whole form,…I just tracked it across a panel,…which was part of the form…because I started out, of course,…you remember the track bar as an easy way to make sure…I have control over the value being manipulated…as I was trying to learn…how to adjust the frequency and volume…based on calculated differences in the mouse position.…And so I started out really simple with the track bar,…and then we could have eliminated them later…
