The six career options
- I think there are six career options, six options for how to earn money to live. And I'm going to quickly outline those for you here. So, the first option is to focus on going up the management tree in an organization. I've tried this. So, this is where you go for promotion. You go into management, you do whatever's required to move up the ladder and you could go up one company, or you could zigzag between companies as a way to get promoted. That might be a better way. But one way or another, you go up the company tree. And the hope is that you end up with perhaps a good pension as well. If it's based on your final salary, that would be great. So, that's your first option. The career option. The second option is to go for the easiest job you can find, and then live the maximum life outside of work, put all your effort and energy into your family your social life, whatever activities you love.
