- Now we're ready for our first worksheet which is our revenue worksheet, and this is where we're going to forecast revenue and I'm going to actually teach you how to forecast revenue in this process. It's a very important thing to do. This anchors you entire business model, is understanding and making sure that you understand and have very accurate forecasts. The better your forecast is, the better your overall financials are going to be, so your revenue forecast is very important. Now, I will say it's one of the harder things to do, though because you're actually trying to predict the future. So what we have to do is use our best estimates, or I'll call guestimating, is certainly okay here as you start to ramp your revenue.
