The relationship between people and their work

- [Instructor] On average, we spend 90,000 working hours during our lives. That's over a third of most people's time on the planet. HR is the function inside companies that creates the services employees need to do that work by providing them with guidance, conditions, and reward for their work. This is known as the deal. The deal sets out how people and their work interplay as exchanges for work done and wages paid in return.
