Anything you can do to draw attention to different tasks on your to-do list is worth doing, until it doesn't do the job anymore. The problem with flagging tasks on your to-do list is when you're not clear about what the flagging represents. Taking time to do that will make all the difference in the world between a to-do list that has clarity and one that does not. Here's how you can make flags work better for you in just three easy steps. Step one, only flag three tasks per day as need to do tasks. Decide what color that flag is and use it that way going forward. Step two, if you're going to flag additional tasks limit them to three per color and decide the urgency or importance level of each color.
