- A blog is a great vehicle for getting your thoughts out into the market, building a brand and generating awareness for your firm. If you're going to blog, you have to commit to it. You'll need a consistent publishing schedule, regular topics and a solid distribution platform in the form of multiple social media accounts. Pick a set of topics and stick to them. Give people consistent content. Decide on a publishing schedule, and make it a priority to adhere to it. I'm feeling a little guilty right now, I haven't written our blog post for this week. I'm gonna make sure I do it tonight. Link your blog to your social media accounts to get distribution of your content. Get people sharing your work. Consider accepting guest posts onto your blog. Those guest posts expose that author's readers to your blog and can grow your base of readers. Remember, your blog is a sales tool. Link it to your products and services.
