- Congratulations, getting a response for a phone call can be exciting. You're one of the 2% of applicants that make it pass this phase. Your job from this point will be to stand out from a smaller pool of applicants, expect that to be at least five other people, but it can still be dozens or more. You're thinking here should focus on three things. First, proving you can do the job. Second, standing out from the rest of the applicants and third, making it to the next interview. Remember that a recruiter's job is to provide qualified applicants. So, to get through this phase, you'll need to answer questions about the technologies listed in the job application. Now, this is where taken quizzes on job scales will be helpful, although those might not be as critical for doing the job. Testing out of concepts is a great way of thinning the herd.
