The overall retrospective

- In large-scale Scrum, there are two retrospectives. There's the team retrospective and the overall retrospective. Both of them happen at the very end of each sprint. The team retrospective happens first. This meeting is one of the most misused of all the meetings. Some teams see this first meeting as group therapy. It's a time when they can vent frustrations and gripe about the organization. The real purpose of this team retrospective is team process improvement. If you're the Scrum master for the team, try to make sure that all the suggestions are on improving how the team works better together. Less team retrospectives are pretty much unchanged from regular Scrum. You can use the same practices, sticky notes and action items.
