No one listens in the stand-up meeting

- One of the most challenging daily scrum failures is when teammates aren't actually listening to each other during scrum. Sometimes it's easy to tell when this is happening because team members are having side conversations during someone's update. You already know how to intervene in this situation. You interrupt the chatter and redirect them to the person providing the update, but there are times it's hard to tell when people are actually listening. People are sometimes focused on what they're going to say in their own update and as a result they're not really hearing anyone else's. Well, since you can't read minds, how can you tell? First, look for signs that your team members are actively listening. Usually it looks like them leaning in a bit, nodding their heads, and looking at the person speaking.
