- I believe that profit is the missing P of the marketing Ps, and profit is so important, because you need to make sure you're making a profit. If you're not, you will have an expensive hobby, and soon you will be out of business. So you want to make sure that no matter what you're doing in your business, you want to make sure that you are making more than you are spending, that you know how much profit is in every sale, and that you are building up your profit models. Not a business model, a profit model, because at the end of the day, profit is how we keep score in business, and if you're not making money, that doesn't make much sense.
