- Like a lot of millennials, I was raised by baby boomers. Baby boomers are known for their job loyalty. In fact, according to one survey, more than 40% of America's baby boomers stayed with their employer for more than 20 years. This loyalty is commendable, but it is important to realize that times have changed, and that today, that kind of loyalty isn't always rewarded in the way that it was for our parents and grandparents.
