The inputs and outputs of success
- We know that two of the big factors for success in life are having clear goals and being efficient. And we know that the outputs for success in life are enjoy and achieve, so enjoyment in the present, you might call it happiness, quality of life, and achievement in the future, which you might call success and is, to an extent, linked to money. So we've got enjoy and achieve as the two outputs. And wouldn't it be interesting if we looked at the connection between the inputs and the outputs? So how do goals and efficiency lead to enjoyment and achievement? And if you look at the combinations of these four things, there are only six combinations that you can have, and I've linked each one of these to an animal to make it easier to remember. So I'm going to have a quick overview now, and there's a chart I'm going to show you that's got all the animals on, and then we're going to look at each animal in more detail once…
