- CNAs are not only important to the treatment team, but they're important to the entire healthcare system because again, CNAs are the ones with hands-on interaction with the patient or the resident. - It's important that CNAs develop relationships with patients because they serve as the voice of patients oftentimes. - The impact to the family is pretty amazing, actually. To this day, we'll run into people that I have cared for, and they're embracing you and thanking you. And to know that what you did as your job meant so much to them, and that they still hold you in their hearts so much, and even years later, it's amazing.
