The Energizer boss can also be a little bit exhausting and exasperating, especially for those who prefer a more tranquil or sedate workplace. Let's review a few key characteristics of the Energizer boss. Number one, they are fast paced, they want to move fast, they want to talk fast, they want to engage fast. Two, they're people-oriented. So they want to build relationships. They want to get to know the people, people are really important. In fact, an energizer boss usually has a very large network of people, that's often their currency in the workplace. They know everybody, and everybody knows them. Thirdly, they are big picture.
