- [Instructor] In the business world, there is a very popular book called "The E-Myth" by Michael Gerber. The original book by Michael talks about the entrepreneurial myth, which is a flawed assumption that people who are experts at a certain technical skill will therefore be successful running a business that does that technical work. Here's an example. Someone may be really good in the technical field of coding for software. So they may be great at doing that. Does that always mean that with that hugely valuable technical skill, that they would be good at managing people, creating systems, and then moving up and running a business? Typically, they don't have the skillset to run a business. The skillset they have is technical and they can't get out from that ground level focus.
