The definition of done

- The definition of done is a key LeSS practice that helps everyone stay transparent about their work. If you're using the graphic on the LeSS website, you can see a good summary of this titled Potentially Shippable and Definition of Done. Even before the first sprint, the team will get together and come up with a common definition of what it means to be done. This definition will be the same for every bit of work that comes out of each sprint. I once worked with a scrum team that was creating a smartphone app that showed local restaurant menus. Before the first sprint, the product owner got together with the feature teams and agreed on a common definition of done. They all agreed that the software's functions and features must work on both iOS and Android. This common understanding of what it means to be done, helped the team stay transparent about what the product owner received at the end of every sprint. So let's go…
